The Wilshire Swag 9255 Print

How can I alter the swag?
We cannot give you instructions to alter the swag in width or depth. To go beyond the sizes given would require the shape and size of the pattern and the pleat angles to change. There is no formula for a quick fix.

Can I alter the jabot?
Yes, you can also alter the horn and the tail.

I want to make the jabot on the Wilshire #9256, which has swags 22”-24” deep, HOWEVER I would prefer to make the Wilshire swag in #9255, that are only 18”-20” deep. Does the #9255 have the pattern for the jabot as seen in the Wilshire #9256?
No, there is only one jabot per package. To do your description, you will need both patterns.

When you state the pattern size, is this for half of the swag? Do we need 2 cuts to make one swag?
Please read all the information, the top of the yardage page describes the treatment. It states that there is a shirred seam in the middle of the swag. Under yardage it states (in bold letters) that two cuts are needed per swag.

Can this beautiful window treatment be adapted to use in a bay window?
To use these for a bay window would be beautiful but you will need to have a tail at the corners. Since the tail is at the back of the pole you will need to do a perfect fit of mitering the pole there since it will show. Also keep the corner free of the “L” bracket. Put the “L” bracket at the edge of the tail behind the swag.

In the instructions for installation for the swag, it is recommended that “L” brackets be used. What size would be best to install the window treatment?
You choose an “L” bracket according to the projection size you wish to have.

I want to add long drapery panels on either side of the jabots. Will this interfere with the jabots in any way? I have tried to figure out how the jabots are extended beyond the width of the swag, but I can’t.
The jabots are attached to the back of the pole. Put your side panels on a separate rod installed about 4” below the pole. Make sure you extend the return on the jabot to cover the side panel.

There is a tieback pattern in the package. Where does it go?
It is just a bonus pattern to use to tie back draperies when desired.
