I am going to make the scalloped valance with tapered sides. The only pattern piece for this style that is in the package is the one half scallop with tapered sides. No full scallop section was included as the instruction booklet shows, should that have been included or do I need to make my own?
Please look at the sketch at the top of page 2. That design takes 2 widths of fabric. The sketch shows how the pattern piece is repeated to complete the design. For larger windows you have to add the scallop valance pattern. An example is at the bottom of page 2. Each section represents one width of fabric, but doesn’t mean you seam the fabric there. Page 6 explains sewing the fabric widths together.
