This pattern was revised in 1999. If you don’t have the latest pattern you may return your used pattern for a new one at ½ price. If your pattern is unused there is no charge, except shipping cost.

I am using 9221 Balloon Shade pattern. I would like to sew tasseled fringe to the bottom of the shade. How can I do this?
9221 shade is designed to have a skirt at the bottom. The bottom of the shade lifts up, to accommodate the skirt. Even if you don’t want a skirt, the shade still has to lift up. You need to use pattern 9222 if you want a trim.
