Rod Pocket Swags 9220 Print

How can I alter the swags?
The pattern is cut on an upward curve. This curve and other angles would have to change. We can not help you with that.

Can I alter the jabot?
Yes, instructions are included.

My client doesn’t want to purchase enough fabric to self line the jabots. What would the yardage be if I face a diagonal edge and line the rest with lining?
This is a method I do not recommend. You save very little fabric in the long run. The extra work should make your labor charge go up. To do this you would need to make a jabot sample to mark the size and shape for the facings. You will also probably have the shadow of a seam showing through.

Can this swag be altered so that the center is open like a pole swag?
No, the shape of the pattern does not allow for a droop area. We have rod pocket pole swags, pattern 9230 and 9231.

Can I mount this swag to a board instead of a rod?
Yes, instructions are included as to how to convert the swag to a board mount. However, charts as to overlap, etc are not included. That information is in our “Workroom Manual”.

I am trying to use this pattern for a board mounted swag, 22” deep. How can I do it?
The swag can’t be altered. You need pattern 9228.
